Hewitson Walker (Bristol) sponsored the
BADCASS Autumn Party which took place in the private members bar Java on Thursday 8th November 2007.
Following ACA exam week, it was an ideal time to pop some money behind the bar so all could relax and enjoy the evening. Shortly after people arrived the drinks started to flow with bar staff struggling to cope with the demand. Dan Messenger was the lucky recipient of the raffle prize a Nintendo DS, with the draw taking place prior to the tab being drunk.
Hewitson Walker presented a few trays of shots of sambuccas to help the evening along which proved to be the turning point of the night. The corporate persona fell by the wayside and Hewitson Walker joined in the drinking. The evening ended up in the Lizard Lounge after taking a taxi from the bottom of Park Street to the Triangle (all of 400 yds) as some (we know who you are) would not walk the distance! A couple of hours and too many drinks later, the night came to a close in a bit of a haze.
