A Finance Data Analyst is required for a 6 -8 month contract that may turn in to a permanent position. Based in Bristol, you will be part of a busy finance team. My client requires someone who is technically excellent, and can fit in to a committed hard working team. It is crucial that you have ESSBASE experience and that you not only have user knowledge but can write reports and build cubes etc.
Duties will include:
Weekly KPI reporting for multiple business
Basis ESSBASE administration tasks
Writing reports in ESSBASE to support business team requests
Testing of KPI reporting system developments and assisting with implementations
Development of data analysis routines across sites
Ad hoc support for the finance teams
Essential Skills Required:
Data analyst/Financial analyst
Significant experience of ESSBASE - be able to Write/develop reports in ESSBASE; Understands dimensions and building 'cubes'; Possible administration experience/understanding of data structures
Advanced Excel skills - used to using complex spreadsheets; Must be able to write macros in VB or VBA
Reporting to tight deadlines
Management accounting experience
Knowledge of SQL 2005 and /or SORCE would be an advantage
Multi-site service industry experience preferred
