Finance Manager supporting the Financial Controller, working for a profitable and rapidly growing SME in Swindon. This new role is a result of the companies growth and on going desire to expand. The role will focus on maintaining a strong control environment and assist in the development of the careers of the finance team moving forward.
Key Responsibilities within this Finance Manager role will be:
* Production of monthly management accounts including accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, analysis and review with cost centre managers
* Change processes to enable faster month-end
* Preparation of monthly Management Information pack for Senior Management. To include Sales, HR, and Fleet analysis as well as the Management Accounts
* Help develop and maintain forecasting model
* Develop and oversee Cashflow forecast model
* Monthly payroll. Maintenance of standing data on Sage Payroll and upload of monthly salary files
* Maintenance of company car data. Payroll year-end routines (inc P11D)
This is an opportunity to join an expanding business at a time of significant change in the Finance department, based in Swindon. The right candidate will have a real impact on both the department and the wider business. To be considered for this role, you are a finalist / qualified accountant (CIMA ACCA, ACA) coming from professional practice or industry. There is a competitive basic salary of £30,000 - £35,000 dependent upon experience, plus benefits.
