Hewitson Walker is fortunate to be working exclusively with this market leading Bristol employer. This is a great opportunity to join a well-respected global manufacturing business that has enjoyed a continued period of growth and profitability in a dramatically unstable market.
Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Controller will be a qualified accountant with exposure in a manufacturing environment, a strong financial accounts background and top-notch communication skills. Key elements of the role include:
· Responsibility for the timely preparation of monthly management accounts including commentary and analysis
· Responsibility for the smooth running of the purchase and sales ledgers, payroll and general ledger · Responsible for cash management including the review and submission of consolidated weekly cash forecasts
· Responsible for consolidation and submission of weekly flash reports
· Preparation of budgets/forecasts including commentary and analysis
· Consolidation of Group monthly management accounts and written summary
· Review and appraisal of capital expenditure proposals
· Preparation of year-end accounts and supporting schedules, statutory reporting, corporate tax returns and audit liaison
· Preparation and submission of the Group monthly VAT return
· Circa £45,000 plus package
