Our client is a well-established national business services organisation with an extensive operation based in Chippenham. Supporting the sales and trading teams, you will be responsible for managing the bid and tender process for a multitude of contracts up to £500m in value. Suitably qualified, you will sit as part of the Head Office Finance Team, however have a dotted line responsibility to the Sales Director also.
Responsibilities will include commercial analysis and bid compilation, winning new business and renewing existing business contracts, including development and appraisal of business growth and renewal proposals, negotiation of contracts and commercial recommendations at senior management level. Specific challenges will include modifying and maintaining the bid models developing new models when the business requires and working with the sales team to refine/ improve the process and improve the quality of bids. Armed with significant bids and tenders experience, you will be looking to join an employer of choice in the local region. The opportunity would appeal to a commercially focused high achiever able to balance a multitude of concurrent contracts at any one time.
