Mark Channon -Operations Director - 12 years experience within both temporary and permanent financial recruitment, Mark has been recruiting in the Basingstoke area for over 10 years. He has an array of experience within the recruitment sector including managing major accounts and customer relationship programs as well as the overall running of the Basingstoke and Bristol offices, with a major focus on customer service.
Jo Ostrowski - Manager - Jo has in excess of twelve years accountancy recruitment experience within the South West. Throughout this time she has specialised in temporary, interim and contract recruitment at all levels of the market from Purchase Ledger Clerk through to Finance Director and Interim Consultants. Jo and her team have won a number of preferential suppliers and recruit for most of the key employers in the South West market including FTSE100, SME's and OMB's.
Steve Coyne - Managing Consultant, Senior Finance Division - With a background in executive search and selection, Steve has over 10 years experience within the South West Finance and Accountancy marketplace working for a national and more recently regional recruiter, with a focus on building and delivering a middle/senior market service on permanent, temporary and interim accountancy recruitment roles. Armed with a strong knowledge of the marketplace, he enjoys the accountability for winning new business, building relationships and growing revenue for a portfolio of clients, along with working with clients on recruitment strategies to add value to their organisation.
Abigail Frear - Senior Consultant - Abby qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2003 after 3 years within a chartered environment. After a further year within commercial accounting she made the move into recruitment 6 years ago. Abby has since specialised in recruiting Finance and Accounting staff into permanent roles within a variety of industries. Her accounting experience ensures that she has a strong understanding of the technical aspects of both a candidates resume and a job description and is well able to match the right candidate for each role.
Madeleine Sims - Senior Consultant - Madeleine embarked on her career in Finance recruitment in 2002 and recruited qualified accountants into temporary and contract assignments across all sectors for national recruitment businesses. Madeleine moved to a city boutique firm and spent several years establishing a successful senior finance permanent division. Having had enough of the hustle and bustle of city life, Madeleine decided to relocate to the South West. She joins Hewitson Walker as a Senior Consultant armed with 8 years finance recruitment experience and has opted to specialise in temporary and contract finance recruitment at a part-qualified and qualified level.
Matt Cocks - Consultant - Matt has worked within the specialist recruitment field for the past six years covering both temporary and permanent accountancy roles. His technical knowledge and his understanding of client requirements allows him to find the best solution for his clients financial recruitment needs. Having worked within the South West market for a number of years, his knowledge of both client and candidate markets is second to none.
Claire Baber - Resourcing Consultant - Claire is a dedicated Candidate Resourcer for the Hewitson Walker Bristol team. Working alongside the consultants, she is responsible for registering new applicants and proactively sourcing new talent for our clients. She operates as the point of contact for candidates keeping them informed of new opportunities and changes in the market.
